To fix the underwater crash, follow the following steps:

1. Download the (Nvidia) driver file from the link given below.
2. After the download is over simply double click on it to install it.
3. Now again open the game and dive onto the water, you will notice the error has gone now the game will not crash while underwater.

Note: This method is only applicable for Nvidia drivers, not the and AMD ones.
