How to fix import AAC audio file error in Audacity

Fix: Audacity AAC Importing Error "FFmpeg Library missing"

FFmpeg Library missing

Audacity is a free audio editing tool, which we can use to create good enough audio for our Youtube videos, music videos, and much more. Some of Audacity's features are that we can remove noise from our audio and normalize it, as well as edit the bass, mids, highs, and vocals.

But sometimes, when we are working with Advance Audio Coding (AAC) audio file format we receive some error from the software saying "without the optional FFmpeg library, Audacity cannot open this type of file".

  10. Click on the button that says locate, a pop up will appear to click on Yes and another pop up will appear, here if the Audacity didn't find the path of the installed FFmpeg file then you have to locate the path by yourself and then click ok.
