How to use Breadboard Power Supply module with Arduino | 3.3V/5V |

Breadboard Power Supply Module : It is basically an electronic device which is used to test out connection before connecting the other electronic components to the Arduino board.
It is a good practice to teat out connection before so that there should be no lose on wrong connections. Breadboard power supply module offers two operating voltages first the 5V and second the 3.3V so that one can use the required voltage. The operating voltage of breadboard power supply is 9V-12V. The breadboard power supply offers a total of 8 output pins of which 4 are 5V and 4 are 3.3V. Breadboard power supply module consist of a power connector jack, a USB port to power the Arduino board, a switch to on/off the module, an LED light for the indication. In this experiment we will see hoe to interface bread board power supply module with the breadboard and light up an led using a 9V external battery.
Breadboard Power Supply Module

Material Required: Breadboard power supply module, one LED , breadboard, connecting wires, one 220 k ohm resistor.

Procedure:
  1. Connect the breadboard power supply module with the breadboard but keep in mind that the positive terminal and the negative terminal of both breadboard power supply module and the breadboard should match
  2. Now connect the battery (9V-12V) to the connecting jack.
  3. Now connect the LED bulb to the breadboard remember the negative and positive terminal.
  4. Connect the negative end of the led with the resistor and connect the the other of the resistor to the GND.
  5. Lets us now connect the positive terminal of the led bulb to the 5V of the breadboard.
  6. Now press the button on the breadboard power supply to switch on the module to see the led bulb glowing.
